Now, Michael Rhodes, back in April of this year, Michael Rhodes, running back from Klein Oak in Texas, obviously in Spring, Texas, um, he committed to Oklahoma, and then in April he decommitted. Indeed, indeed, indeed. Now In the wee early morning, this past morning actually, on Thursday, uh, 12 AM, he committed to Texas. Yes indeed, the 4-star out of Spring, Texas, he committed to Texas. Um, and a fun fact about old Micah Rhodes is his, his grandfather Bobby Rhodes, he played for the Texas Longhorns in the 1980s at linebacker. Yeah, he was a linebacker for the Texas Longhorns back in the '80s. So this is dope. This is dope, and this is a huge boost. The kid is about what? Five ten, one ninety five. Perfect, perfect size. And then then he's gonna get on that peanut butter diet, get some weight, gain some weight, getting them getting that weight room even more, right? And it's gonna be insane. So this is major, huh? Oh, you still sucks. Oh, I just laughed when I read the when I read the headline. Honestly, it was really funny to me. And just knowing that he was even an Oklahoma commit and then he just to decommit and come over to the Texas side. Come on, come on over. There's nothing wrong with it, huh? There's nothing wrong with that at all. This is exciting and this is going to give a big boost to the Texas Longhorns backfield. Now he is class of 2028. He's class of 2028, but there's an incoming freshman that I'm so excited to talk about. Oh my God, I'm so excited. And what will this mean for the future of this running back room? I will tell you just in a moment. Now, this hit is sponsored by Kalshi. You can download the Kalshi app, uh, use promo code HIT to get $25 when you trade $25. Right now, currently, the Texas Longhorns are trading at 76% to beat, destroy, devour the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River rivalry tomorrow. I'm excited, I know you're excited, and you can participate in this. And just, just a disc— uh, Disclaimer, um, there are so many markets to participate in over on Kalshi, so you don't want to miss out. Again, that's Kalshi, K-A-L-S-H-I, Kalshi. Trade on anything. So this incoming freshman, that freshman that I was talking to you guys about just a few seconds ago, Landon Williams-Callis— if you are from Texas or, and you really keep your ear to the streets about high school football, you've heard about this guy. You've heard about this guy. Let me just, let me, let me just, you know, let me, let me just, you know, reel you on in. Last Thursday, right in front of Coach Sarkisian, he ran for 327 yards, 15 carries, and 6 touchdowns. Mm-hmm. If I'm not mistaken, he had 4 of those touchdowns in the first half or if, or the first quarter. But he's done this over and over and over. There was one particular game early on in this season. He, he had like 300 yards in the first quarter. The dude's insane. He's about 5'8, 190. He can get gone. He'll run through you, he'll run over you, he'll run around you. The dude is tough. And what is this going to mean for the future of this running back room? Now, Relique Brown, he's gonna go. He's a senior, so he'll be graduating after this, right? That means you will be stuck— well, not stuck with, because it's not a bad thing, but you'll have Relique Brown, then you have Derrick Cooper, right? And then behind Derrick Cooper, you will have Landon Excuse me, Landon, Williams, Callis. And this is— that's a 3-headed monster. It's a 3-headed monster. So this— you, in turn, you won't have to worry about this running back room for a while, for a good while, because next year obviously it's gonna be Hollywood's mother's senior year, right? He graduates, it's gonna be Derek, then it's gonna be Hollywood— uh, it's gonna be Derek, then it's gonna be, uh, Landon, and then it's gonna be our guy Micah. Dude, this is nuts. This is nuts. We literally do not have to worry about this backfield for possibly the next— wow, for the, for the next 8 years. This is— this— and maybe longer, maybe longer. This is nuts. This is great. I, I'm, I'm so glad we're doing this to Oklahoma. We just have to show up and show out tomorrow. Video coming very soon regarding, um, the Texas and Oklahoma game tomorrow.
