Today we're going to be looking at the Texas Longhorns versus the UTSA Roadrunners in a broader lens, in a broader lens, right? Because Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns, this game is all about preparing for what lies ahead. What's going on everybody? This is Madison Davis with the Locked In Longhorns podcast hit with Locked On Podcast Network. Before we get started, this show is sponsored by Kalshi. Let's talk about Arch Manning and this offense. Right now, this offense is operating at a high level, especially dropping 21 points in one quarter, the 4th quarter, when the— when you needed it most, these guys showed up. Um, but for this game coming ahead, if you also— if you did miss the last, um, show, go ahead, go back over there, tap in with that, come back to this one. This one will all make sense. Um, so again, as we stated, in the last, well, in the previous show, establishing the run. So I'm sorry. Woo. Getting everybody involved. Getting everybody involved. And that'll be a key to victory. Now, what you're laying the groundwork for this upcoming gauntlet. You have to play Tennessee. You have to play Oklahoma. We have to play LSU still. We still have to play Texas A&M. We have to play Florida. They're still in SEC, right? We gotta play Ole Miss. You have LSU, Missouri. We still have to play these guys and we have to make sure that whatever hiccup we had in Ohio State, it doesn't happen again. We have to get to a fast start and handle business. When you look at Texas big picture, we're going to look at the broader lens. Remember I did say we're going to look at a broader lens. The standard in Austin is simple. SEC championship and a college football playoff Run. We need those. I need those. I want those, right? But we have to look at this from a nuanced view. You're at the top of the college football world right now. Everybody wants your head, meaning you have to be prepared at all cost. At all cost. You have, again, like I said earlier, you don't You can't have any hiccups. This, listen, this weekend, no hiccups. Correct what needs to be corrected so we can move forward and be nice and prepared for what lies ahead. Because LSU is not playing. Ole Miss, they're not playing. You know, you know the saying, it's lonely at the top. But you being at the top, everybody sees you. They want what you have and they want to take what you have. You have to be prepared. And we can be prepared, especially on the defensive side. We just control the run. That's my only worry, right? As far as the defense goes, just stop the run. Stop the run. Granted, our passing game, yes, I guess it could use work, but you went against Jeremiah Smith. That's like the best college football player ever right now. So we need to handle business on stopping the run. Run fits, containment. We have to do this. We have to. I'm not worried about our pass rush. Colin Simmons and the guys, they'll be just fine. Well, I did speak of the championship earlier, but did you know that the Texas Longhorns are favored to win the national championship this season? Yes, overall college 13%. We are favored. Actually, we're actually favored over Notre Dame right now, and I believe they're at 12%. So Everything's kind of dropping right now, but it's all right. It's okay. That doesn't faze me. Now, what you can do since we're at 13%, you can trade $100 and that payout will be $631. That's Kalshi, K-A-L-S-H-I, Kalshi. Trade on anything. Win the national championship game, that $631 is coming to you. Believe it, believe it, believe it. Lastly, before I get on out of here, what we need to do. is avoid this trap game. This is the— we can say, come on, we can say it's a trap game, right? Let's say this is a trap game this Saturday. This is a trap game. We need to avoid it. Avoid it. As stated in the previous show, we just had an emotional win. And if you know anything about emotional wins, that next week you still are riding high. You're still riding high. You're feeling a certain type of way. Well, we're at the top of the world. You can't beat us. Things of that nature. We need to disregard that thought. To handle business. This is strictly business. I don't care who walks through those through those gates. I don't care who's on the field. I don't care who's on the other. I don't care. I don't care. We need to handle business, and we need to dominate. That's the thing. If you follow us on social media platforms, make sure you tap in with us on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and even X, right? A lot of people were in the comments saying they don't really believe in us. They they're like, oh, good teams don't go down 23 to 3. I felt disrespected. I'm not even on the team, right? And they still don't believe we can dominate. I want dominance. I want to dominate. I know the guys want to too. I gave my previous prediction and I'm going to say it again. 45-17 is going our way. I can even see us dropping a 50 ball. You know, I'm going 50. I'm going to up the ante. 50. We're going to drop 50. I'm feeling, I'm feeling some type of way right now. I just read the comments just a few minutes ago. That's kind of, it's, I know, I know. I know, I know I should probably stay out of the comments, uh, but it is what it is.
