But, uh, his first win was back in 2021 against— well, Oklahoma State versus Texas, uh, and that was 32-24. And the second one was the obvious playoff loss against Ohio State. Yep, yep, that still hurts to this day. A 28-14. So Jim Knowles likes to really confuse quarterbacks. He likes to really— and apparently Steve Sarkisian, he loves to confuse them by bringing certain pressures and, and really disrupting, um, Steve Sarkisian's offensive rhythm. And he does it really well, really, really well. However, those last 2 times, Steve Sarkisian didn't have Cam Coleman, he didn't have Ryan Wingo. Right? He didn't have that three-headed monster in the backfield. No, no, no. Now granted, back in 2021 he did have Bijan Robinson, but it's different this time. It's different. It's real different. What Steve Sarkisian is going to have to do, he's going to have to establish the run game. He is. He's going to— guys, I told you I was going to tell you this till I turn blue in the face. I'm not turning blue no time soon, but I'm going to continue to tell you this. He has to establish a run game. If you don't, we're not going to talk about if he doesn't do that, but You must do that, 'cause the game will be lost and/or won in the trenches. And if you can control that, I trust our running backs to get in space and dominate. And we will talk about this particular unit on the defensive side of the football that must dominate. They're gonna try to double the offensive side on the Volunteers. They're gonna try to double Ian Gifford, right? And when they double him, that is gonna allow our linebackers to eat, open up rushing lanes for us to hit. We must attack when we see the gap. We have to. We have to, 'cause they are gonna run the ball. I, hey, don't know if you guys know this, but they are going to try to establish a run themselves. They have a running quarterback. He can pass the ball, but he also is a running quarterback, and he's dangerous with his legs. He's dangerous with his legs. And then you have Deshaun Bishop. That's their running back. He's going to get active. So it's going to be all— it's going to be on our linebackers to really make sure these guys don't get anything on the run game defensively. On our DBs, I'm sorry. Um, I trust our DBs. They're physical. Uh, Will Muschamp is going to get those guys right. Um, and, and actually Will Muschamp, fun fact, Will Muschamp is 4-0 against Josh Hypel. Do with that information what you must. Hey, look, I'm, I'm just, I'm just telling you, I'm just telling you guys, hey, relax. I'm just telling you, I'm just relaying the information to you. But these linebackers have to come up and play run support. They must step up. We kind of had a rough outing against UTSA last weekend. We don't need that again. It's a big game. Everybody's gonna be watching. The nation's gonna be watching. You're the number one team. Everybody will be watching. How will you respond? How are you gonna respond? Yes, Josh, he, he typically loves to do, uh, quick outs. Quick, quick, quick, quick. He likes to go quick. But after last week, what I, I'm expecting them to definitely ramp up the run game over on Tennessee's side. So need to see that from our linebackers. They need to step up.
