Coming up, a desperate team is a dangerous team, and we'll talk more about that in just a few moments. Now, This Longhorns offense, I don't believe it's as bad as we're actually thinking. Now, I've been thinking about it. I've been watching some film, right? And taking some things into account. Jim Knowles' defense, they're pretty darn good. They're really darn good. Leading the entire college football. They're leading college football in 23 sacks in 5 games. 5. 5. I don't, I don't think a lot of people understand how crazy that is. That's insane. That's insane. 23 sacks in 5 games. That's nasty. That's nasty. Jim Knowles' defense isn't really known to be horrible. And they are proving that right now. They're really darn good. And for you to, you hurt yourself going against that defense and for you to still put up 20 points, that's kind of a win, right? And again, you put yourself behind the sticks plenty of times, self-inflicted wounds where we need to clean that up. We need to clean that up, but we'll get into that more as the week goes along. And for you to really put yourself behind the sticks consistently and for you to still drop 20 points when you, when possibly you could have dropped 30, could have, should have dropped 30. I'm going to say that you should have dropped 30 points. Yeah. You, you haven't even played a perfect game as an offense yet. Um, and, and we go to the Ohio State game. Right? Let's go to the Ohio State game where we quite literally put up 20 points straight. 20 straight points against the Ohio State defense. Matt Patricia's defense is no slouch. They have one of the better defenses in the country as well. And they couldn't stop you in the 4th quarter. They couldn't. Now you might go to the UTSA game. Yeah, I mean, we, we were self-inflicted wounds once again. We weren't doing our thing. We weren't firing on all cylinders. Okay, I get it. I understand it. But still, think about what we have been doing to ourselves and we still win the game and our offense still— we haven't— we're not even in our final form yet. You know, you know, like, like, uh, off of Dragon Ball Z. We're not, we're not even in our final form, huh? We haven't even gone Super Saiyan yet. We're still, we're still right. So we need to— I think, I think our offense is going to be just fine. We work out the kinks during the bye week. I'm expecting to see something big. I'm expecting to see A great, great showing from our offense this coming Saturday in the Cotton Bowl. I'm excited. I know you're excited. Um, and Calci is also excited. We want to give a big shout out, um, to our sponsor Calci. Yes, indeed. Calci, Calci, Calci. Texas is favored to win this game against the Oklahoma Sooners. They're trading at 79%. Uh, so what you could do to get in on the action, you can download the Calci app, use promo code Hit H-I-T to get $25 when you trade $25. Now another thing that I noticed over on Cowshy, we're actually not favored to win the SEC Championship Game. Mind you, we're ranked number 1 in the nation. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I am all good for, for underdog stories. I love underdog stories and we're the underdog. So what you can do, again, download the Cowshy app, use promo code HIT to get $25 when you trade $25. We need— we stop throwing disrespect on our name. Huh? Let's go. Let's go do it. Let's go do it. Now, I really, really need us to understand that a desperate team is a dangerous team. It, it, I mean, that's just, that's just the nature of it. They have, they have nothing to lose. It's just, it's just like, just like men. A, a dangerous man is a man who has nothing to lose. A desperate man, you know? So I think what we need to take into account, and I'm seeing a lot of this on Twitter and a lot of this on Instagram, a lot of people are discounting the Oklahoma Sooners. And granted, I'm— we look, I'm not in their corner, not in their corner. I'm not. You will never see me rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners. But I think what we need to take into account is these guys are top 5, uh, in yards allowed this season, meaning they are actually defensively, they are very sound and they are very good. Brent Venables, we know his resume, right? We see what he did with Clemson. He's kind of bringing that over to Oklahoma to a certain degree. Right? We need to take that into account, and they're going to try to do whatever it takes to win this game. This is the Red River Shootout. So we could expect their best. They better expect our best, and I feel like our best is better than their best every day of the week. Let me stop before I get— I'm gonna get pumped in this joint, I'm telling you.
