So they— it seems as though the College Football Playoff Committee, they are going to allow next year for there to be a 24-team playoff for college football. I don't like it. I don't like it at all. But what would that mean for this season? All right, so let's say we finish— let's take the current rankings, stop right here. What it is right now, let's say it stops right, right here, right? This is the same— that's the same rankings now. This is going to be the same rankings at the end of the season. All right, let's do it. So we're gonna, we're gonna keep an eye on— okay, we're just gonna, we'll go through this, we're gonna walk through this. So we don't play round 1, right? Round 1, we're gonna be paying attention to Boise State and Texas Tech. Texas Tech ranked 10th, Boise State ranked 23rd. All right, let's say Texas Tech— yeah, we're gonna have Texas Tech winning that game. They're going to play us in the next round, okay? All right, so let's say— I ain't no let's say, we're gonna beat the snot out of Texas Tech, respectfully. So we beat Texas Tech and we go to the next round. This is gonna be the quarterfinals, okay? Now our opponent in the quarterfinals is gonna depend on this, okay? So in the first— let's go back to the first round. Ohio— um, not Ohio State, Oklahoma State ranked 18th, uh, and Kentucky playing, they're ranked 15th. Whoever wins between those 2, they advance to play Notre Dame, who's ranked 2nd. So Kentucky advances to the— let's say Kentucky beats Oklahoma State. They're going to go to the next round, okay? They're going to play Notre Dame. Let's say Notre Dame— no, we're going to say Notre Dame wins. Notre Dame, uh, beats Kentucky and they go to the quarterfinals, and that matchup is against us. That matchup is against— it's against us, okay? Now it just gets hectic from, from there. Uh, again, you're starting to see the problem, right? This is a lot. This is a lot. So then Let's say we beat Texas. Let's say we beat Notre Dame and we go to the next round. Okay, well, that's just gonna depend on— wow, you— if you guys could see what I'm looking at, it looks a hot mess. So do you see why I disagree with it? It's too much. It's too much. It's, it's entirely too much. It's gonna— why? I don't— I'm— I— guys, I'm not gonna go through the rest of this. This is, this is entirely too much. USC versus Tennessee, whoever wins that game, they go play Miami. And LSU versus—is that who was that? Is that who is that? Oh, it's Houston. Houston goes against Alabama, and then whoever. Let's just say Alabama and Miami meet, and they meet in the quarterfinals. Whoever wins against those two, they play us. And then then we got to look at the top bracket. Look at that. That's that's a mess. It's a mess. Do you see why I dislike it? It's too much, too much, too much. It's it's Come on, man. Come on. I dislike it for that reason. It's a lot going on. These guys are going to be tired. These guys are going to be in pain. This is ridiculous. This isn't college basketball. You can't do that. You can't. You all let me know what you feel about this down in the comments. I'm going to be reading every last one of them, uh, and I, I feel as though you're gonna have the same opinion as I. So Jordan Coleman, offensive line, he— it looks like he's on a good track to play tomorrow. So there's a— there is a negative. Kaliq Lockett went from doubtful to out, so he's not playing. It's going to be, uh, as far as everything else, it looks to be the same on the Texas side of things. Florida Duke Clark is out. He was already out, so that that's no change. And everything everything basically stays the same as far as questionable. Vernell Brown, he's still questionable. Bailey Stockton, he's questionable. And Aaron Filo, he's questionable as well.
