This did not need to be a thriller, and it came down to the last possession for Tennessee. And this is ridiculous. This is ridiculous. What a great showing by our defense. Defense had what we had. We had a record. We set a record in sacks today. We set a record. We had ten sacks today. Ten. I think that's the most in FBS history. Offensively, I don't know what we're doing. I don't. For the ladies and gentlemen, I don't know what we're doing on the offensive side of the. football. And honestly, I don't think we know what we're doing on the offensive side of the football. I, I'm, I'm so confused, right? I'm so confused. We come out on fire. Arch is— wow, he's, he's dot after dot after dot. And, and, you know, we score, right? And we didn't really establish the run game like I said we would have to do in order to win this game. But, you know, when we got our second touchdown, we established the run and was able to get down the field, uh, and score. To put ourselves up by 10. We got away from it. Well, granted, I have to get my hats off to Tennessee's defense. Their front line is insane. That front defensive line, oh my God, they got after— they got after Arch. Sacked us 6 times. Yeah, they sacked us 6 times. Uh, there, granted, there was nowhere to really run, um, but I mean, it— I don't know, man. Offensively, I am, I am nervous. I am very nervous for this offense. Hey, this is this is the second actually no this is this is the third this is the this is the third straight week where our offense has not looked good at all. It was just a sad performance and and maybe I'm maybe I'm maybe I'm tripping maybe I'm tripping right maybe I'm just tripping maybe I'm just I don't know I just expect so much out of a talented roster that I think we should put up more than twenty points. I felt like when we had the ball the very last time we needed to score. I don't care how we had to do it. Just score a touchdown. Just get it in the end zone, and we didn't. We, man, man, oh man! I I mean ground game. Relique Relique had seventeen carries for sixty-seven yards and two touchdowns. I I yes, they maybe they made that a point of emphasis to make sure they didn't get explosive run plays. Make sure we didn't get explosive run plays, right? But my problem, it's like. I, I don't know. I don't know, ladies and gentlemen. I, I really don't know. I am very— I'm just not pleased with our offense. Defensively, they did their thing despite some penalties. And oh God, penalties. Oh brother, penalties, penalties, penalties. 11 penalties, 115 yards. I'm so glad the bye week's coming up, ladies and gentlemen. I'm not gonna lie to you, I am so glad the bye is coming up. Uh, but anyway, despite us barely winning this game, we are still favored on Cowshy to win the national championship game. Uh, we are favored actually now over Notre Dame. Notre Dame at 12%, we are now at 13%. So if you go over on Cowshy, download Cowshy, use code HIT, uh, to get $25 when you trade $25. Penalties were— they were just insane. They were just insane. They were unwarranted. What are you— my man, what are you doing? What are we doing? Why are we running past the line of scrimmage and dumping it off to some— this is the second game in a row where this has happened, by the way. Actually, no, I think this happened in Ohio State too. I'm pretty sure this happened in Ohio State too. So this is the third game in a row. Third game in a row. Arch runs past the line of scrimmage, still looking who he's going to pass it to. He's 5 yards removed from the line of scrimmage. Like he's past it, meaning you can't pass the ball anymore. And he still decides to throw the ball. That's a penalty. Oh my God. Oh my goodness. The penalties were, they were, they were excessive, but defense did their thing. I'm so proud of this defense. This defense, Colin Simmons, despite that. Oh my God. That was, that was just not a good penalty after you got that sack on. Oh my Lord. I don't know why he was doing that, but anyway, anyway, anyway, anyway, anyway. Colin Simmons balled out, right? Colin Simmons balled out. I want to see how many sacks he had. Raheem Biles balled out. Cryer balled out. Simmons balled out. Uh, uh, shout out to Lance Jackson. He balled out. These guys were getting after it. Uh, Colin had 5 sacks. Canoe had, had a sack. We were getting after— we were actually getting after the quarterback. Like, we were doing really good defensively. Defensively, my hat— oh my God, these guys showed up. Offensively, we have got to get this squared away if we want to go to a national championship. This isn't it. This is not it. This is, this is not it. And Arch said in the postgame, uh, with, with, with Holly Rowe, he was like, yeah, I didn't play well. Yeah, uh, I honestly— Arch, the entire offense didn't really play well. So we have got to get— we're bye week, we need to get this fixed because we're about to go into a gauntlet and it might get— if we don't get this fixed, look, there are a lot of teams that just— they— well, I'm telling you, I'm telling you, they're going to play opposing quarterbacks that are going to make us pay anytime we don't do anything with the football. We gotta fix this. We have to fix this. We have to fix this, and I think we need to fix this now. But it's your main man Madison Davis back again with the Longhorns hit.
