And coming up, we're going to pinpoint Um, a very much real concern, um, for this Texas Longhorns offensive line. But let's get into the sustainability in which how these Texas Longhorns are winning football games. Now, the name of the game is to win. We're 4-0, can't complain. I can't complain at all. Now, what I will say, the fashion of which we're winning football games, it does worry me a little bit. It worries me a little bit. Let's take Ohio State, how we beat Ohio State, right? We were hurting ourselves, right? We were kind of, you know, shooting ourselves in the foot. And we got down to a really, really, really good team. Adjustments were made in the second half. Yes. And we were able to come out and shut Jeremiah Smith down for the most part and find a way to rally in the fourth quarter to win the game. You do that against somebody else. That actually has a running game. Let's take Florida, for example. You do that against them. I I I think it gets bad. I think it gets bad. Let's go to Tennessee, right? And how we won that game. We should have Tennessee shouldn't have even been in the game. In my honest opinion, they shouldn't have been in the game. Granted, hats off to those guys over there. They do a great job at what they do. I think we're better. I think I think we should have. Won that game by 17 points. I do. I really do. But we kept them in the game, and with better QB play from Tennessee, I ooh. I don't. I don't know, man. I that's that's scary. That's scary to think about. So what I'm saying, the things that we're doing penalties, self-inflicted wounds, that throwing the ball when we're past the line of scrimmage, you know, which contributes to the Penalties and starting behind the sticks, we can't do that against elite caliber teams. That's why I'm saying yes, it can be sustainable, but you go along the way that you win, you're gonna have to change it up. Gonna have to change it up. Self-inflicted wounds have to stop. They do. They have to cease. We have to get that out the way. No penalties for for dumb celebrations. No holdings. Well, you're gonna get holding sometimes, but it shouldn't be recurrent, right? We shouldn't. The punt, the special teams. My goodness, we, we, we can't, we can't let that blunder happen, right? You do that against a better team, that might be an L in, in the loss column. That's just, that's just the way that is. That's just the way that is. So we fix these things. If we can just lock in, cut down on hurting our own selves and just getting the W, uh, I'm, I'm fine with the dogfight, right? I'm fine with that. I'm I'm fine with that. But if you're having self-inflicted wounds, I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. And the 2 top 15 games that we've played, it's been a lot of self-inflicted wounds. So we have to clean that up. We have to. We clean that up, it changes. The way we win, it changes. We will look dominant. We will. We will. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I know we will be dominant. We cut down on these penalties. We cut down on these mishaps. will be just fine. Now, moving on to these struggles on the O-line, right? And it's not even to the fact or to the point where, oh my God, we look horrible. No, we don't look horrible. All right, our offensive line is still really, really good. One of my main concerns for the offensive line though, it's the stunts and the blitz pickup, right? We can't really— I agree. It kind of stems from Robertson, our center. It kind of stems from— because he against Tennessee, he was not, he was not really good. No, uh-uh, they were giving him, they were giving him the business. Respectfully, they were giving him the business. Now if we could clean that up, right, and, and maybe we have to use our running back in the passing game though. We do have to use our running back in the passing game. We have to go split backfield. have one pickup. Let's say we have a Derek Cooper pickup, um, a stunt or a blitz, right? And have Relique or have Hollywood Smothers, you know, run their route. That's fine. But we have to find a way to help him out too, Robertson, uh, because we, we just can't have that. You're going to go against Oklahoma— has a nice, nice front. They have a really good front. So we're gonna have to find a way to alleviate that off of him. And I, I believe they will. I believe they will. If they have to double team, do so. Um, that's You don't want to leave anybody open, but if you have to double team and have the running back pick up the open man, do so. Do so. Got to clean that up. I need Coach Flood and Coach Sark to clean that up because if not, teams are going to keep doing that. They're going to keep doing those stunts. They're going to keep doing those blitz until you learn how to pick it up, until you clean it up. And there will be teams that will attack it. There will. There will. Especially on this schedule. Ladies and gentlemen, we will be talking about the schedule. Tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. But it's your main man Madison Davis with the Locked On Longhorns hit.
