You guys better watch out. Uh, but first we need to talk about this defensive player that's not getting enough love in my opinion. Lance Jackson. Yes indeed, Lance Jackson. Lance Jackson had himself a ball game. Granted, right? Granted, he— his, his numbers didn't jump off the stat sheet, but he had 9 pressures, he had 1 sack, he had 4 QB hits, he had 4 hurries, uh, he had 4 tackles. This man was speeding up Faison Brandon's internal clock. And I'm not gonna lie, Collin Simmons should probably give Lance some, some, some credit, man. 'Cause I mean, if it wasn't for Lance, sometimes Collin wouldn't have some of the sacks he had, right? He wouldn't have some of the sacks he had. So I think Lance is, he's balling, man. Even Coach Steve Sarkisian said this was one of, if not his best game as a Texas Longhorn. And I couldn't agree more. I I couldn't agree more. He's only, he's only a sophomore, but he also had some good people to look up to, uh, especially his own brother who's the defensive end for the Buffalo Bills and former Arkansas standout, uh, Landon Jackson. Landon Jackson. So I, it doesn't really, again, it doesn't show up on the stat sheet as much, but 9 pressures. And you saw Faison Brandon, he was, he was literally panicking. He was looking for it. Where's 40 at? Where's 40 at? There he is. There he is. There he is. And then he worries about 11 a little later. And it's like, it's like he, he can't win. He can't win. And I, I loved seeing that. I love the pressure that, uh, Lance— that Lance, almost called him Landon— that Lance, uh, provided for this team. He did his thing and he's only a sophomore, meaning he's gonna continue to get better. And having, obviously having Collin Simmons on the other side helps him out as well. But having Lance Jackson on the other side of Collin Simmons, or even when Collin Simmons is outta the game, you can expect that Lance is gonna show up. Lance is gonna— I'm sorry, y'all, if it sounds like I'm stuffy, I'm coming down with a cold. But Lance is gonna show up. Lance is going to get money. He's going, he's going to make it difficult for the quarterback, right? And obviously our interior guys are doing their thing, but Lance was balling. He was balling. I love to see it. I'm pretty sure you guys love to see it as well. Um, and I know, I know this, and we're only in week 4. Well, that was only game 4, right? So I know it's just gonna keep getting better. I know he's just gonna keep getting better. He's only a sophomore. He perfectly, you know, I wanna see him do all four years, of course, but it's okay. I totally understand you wanna go to the NFL, but thankfully he's only a sophomore. So we got next year too. We have next year too. We coming up though, there's also a budding star over there on that offensive side of the football. I can't wait to talk about this young man. I can't wait. Um, but we wanna get to our sponsor really, really quick. Uh, did you know over on Calci, Texas is favored to beat In the national championship, yes indeed. They're also favored to win the national championship, trading at 13% to win the national championship. This offensive star, well, soon-to-be star, we have to use him some more, but I believe once we do that, he's— Jermaine Bishop Jr., he's going to be something. You have his teammates, Raleek Brown said he's fast. He's fast. You know, in my honest opinion, he kind of reminds me of Xavier Worthy, uh, just a little bit. Just a little bit. Hey, I said he reminds me. I didn't say he's just like. All right, I can hear you guys already. Relax, okay? Relax. But he does remind me a little bit of Xavier Worthy. Uh, Ryan Wingo said he's going to be the one. He's going to be the one. We saw him do that corner and, and that corner route, um, and Arch Manning— excuse me— Arch Manning delivered a heck of a ball, a heck of a ball to Jermaine Bishop. And he was doing his thing. He was doing his thing. I just want to see him involved a lot more because he provides a spark to this offense that I believe we are missing. We're missing. We, we really are. Um, I, I believe as time goes on, Jermaine Bishop Jr. is going to keep getting active. He's going to keep making plays, but you have to give him the opportunity to do so. He does that, I guarantee you, I guarantee you the man is going to prove a lot of people wrong, and he's going to put his name on the map. He's going to put his name on the map. I can't wait to see it. Jermaine Bishop Jr., remember the name. It's been my time. I hope I didn't waste yours. It's your main man Madison Davis with the Locked On Longhorns hit.
